Why do you lose health by using a Major or Master Rune?

Do you gain back that health if you take off the armor?

major or superior...

well you use health because otherwise you could add too many runes so you have so many levels it's almost unfair..
it's a balance issue really..you can be more powerfull, but die faster

you gain the health back yes

They do in a way

Minor+1 no health penalty
Major +2 -50 health penalty
Superior +3 -75 health penalty

Absorbtion and Vigor Runes have no health penalty.
